Kõnnu Bog and the surrounding “hills” are breathtaking landscapes shaped by the Ice Age. The steep inclines in some areas have even earned this region the nickname “Estonian Switzerland.” From the observation tower, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of bog pools and a colorful mosaic of peat moss.
Walking on the bog with bogshoes creates a surreal feeling—almost like walking on water! If you want to experience the true beauty and charm of the bog away from wooden boardwalks and learn more about this unique environment, join a guided bogshoe hike with Wanderlust.ee.
To keep your energy up, we’ll provide a refreshing drink and cookies during the tour. Plus, this is the perfect chance to pick yourself and taste freshly ripened cranberries, and boost your vitamin intake straight from nature!
