Walk in Pirita River Valley Nature Reserve
Want to discover the green side of Tallinn? Come and join us for a walk in the lush greenery of a suburb of the city. We will take a stroll along the curvy Pirita river discovering the rich fauna here and telling stories about the history. As the finishing point of the walk is different from the starting point, we will catch the bus that drives through the infamous Lasnamäe suburb before returning to the city centre.
Clothing and footwear:
Dress according to the weather forecast, if necessary rain proof and according to your own comfort level. Layered clothing should be preferred so that you could remove or add layers as required. We recommend wearing sport shoes or hiking boots. Bring along a small backpack for personal belongings, a bottle of water and if you like, some energy-rich snacks (banana, chocolate, nuts, energy bar).
When buying the ticket, do indicate any food intolerances, vegetarianism, etc.
Bus stop Haljas tee for bus No 5 (direction Metsakooli tee). About 20 minutes by bus from Tallinn city centre. Coming by car or bike, you can park next to the bus stop. Meeting 10 minutes before the walk.
